I’ve been searching the internet recently to see if there is anything that clearly explains how to strip and wax a linoleum floor. To my surprise there really isn’t. In this article I’m going to go over how to remove wax and dirt build up, teach you how to remove the floor stripper in an organic fashion, and then teach you how simple it is to apply floor finish to a linoleum floor.
Stripping and Cleaning
- Mix 1 1/2 cups of ammonia to every 1 gallon of water in a bucket
- Poor a small amount of your floor stripping solution in a small area
- With a nylon brush or scouring pad proceed to scrub at the floor
- After floor stripping Let the ammonia dry.
